A Night of Music Raises Funds and Friends for the Foundation

This year’s Night of Music for the Steve Rummler Hope Foundation was held on Saturday, January 25th at Tuttle’s Eat Bowl Play in Hopkins, Minnesota. The crowd rocked to Twin Cities’ favorites — the Morningside Blues Band, the GooneyBirds and the Kung Fu Hippies.  This amazing evening was organized by Steve’s dear friend, Omar Yamoor, and the music was presented by a talented and devoted group of Steve’s friends.  The awesome poster for the event was designed by Steve’s friend Jeff Troldahl.  The Foundation is also grateful to John Condon of U.S. MAGNETIX for providing “Steve’s Law” oval magnets, Scott Rohr and Jeff & D’Ette Mullinix for their contributions from the sales of their batik and tie dye tshirts, and Joe Mears for photographing the evening for us (click here to see pics)!  John Binetti of Sport Moments Plus provided artwork for our Silent Auction fundraiser.  In addition to raising funds, we also raised awareness for Steve’s Law (MN 911 Good Samaritan and Naloxone legislation)!  Minnesota State Senator Chris Eaton, the Senate author of Steve’s Law, attended and spoke to our crowd about the importance of passing this life saving legislation.  WCCO TV Channel 4 covered the event in their 10:00 news that evening.
