November 6, 2014 By: SRHN

On Friday, September 12, the Foundation, in partnership with the Minnesota Medical Association, held the first in a series of lectures on pain and addiction to the medical students at the University of Minnesota.  Dr. Marv Seppala, Chief Medical Officer at the Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation, spoke to the students.  The lecture was filmed and will be posted on the Minnesota Medical Association website as free, enduring CME (Continuing Medical Education).  Dr. Charles Reznikoff, Foundation board member, has been primarily responsible for this effort to ensure that medical students, and physicians across the country, will have access to evidence-based training on the treatment of pain and addiction.
