Bill and Judy Rummler Speak to Patients at the Mayo Clinic Pain Rehabilitation Center

The Foundation’s Chairman and President Bill and Judy Rummler were in Rochester, Minnesota on December 5th to speak to patients at the Pain Rehabilitation Center at the Mayo Clinic.  Steve’s story had a powerful impact on the patients, many of whom suffer as he did with chronic pain and addiction.  Steve was a patient at the Center for three week in January 2010.  The staff there tells his story often to teach others about the real risk of overdose death with the long-term use of opioids in the treatment of chronic pain.
