The Steve Rummler Hope Foundation has been working with Northfield Hospital and the Rice Country Sheriff’s Department to get Overdose Prevention kits with naloxone into the hands of law enforcement. On July 21, 2015 Northfield Hospital turned over kits to the Rice County Sheriff’s Department. Rice County is becoming an excellent model for other Minnesota counties to follow in finding the best way to get naloxone into the hands of first responders and educate the public about Steve’s Law. A special thanks to Curt Benson of the Mayor’s Task Force for helping make this turnover happen. Click here to read more.
