Randy Anderson

Overdose Prevention Manager

Randy is a person in long-term recovery and what that means to him is that he hasn’t had to use drugs, alcohol, or any mood-altering substance since January 9, 2005. After receiving the life-saving gifts of treatment and recovery, Randy completed his A.S. degree in addiction counseling at Minneapolis Community & Technical College in 2015 and now works as a full-time as the overdose prevention manager of the Network. If you or your organization needs naloxone training, he’ll be your key contact. Previously he worked as a substance abuse counselor at RS Eden – the very same treatment facility where he was once a client.

A passionate advocate for recovery and reform, Randy also serves as a member of the MN Second Chance Coalition Steering Committee and is actively involved in the MN Association of Resources for Recovery and Chemical Health (MARRCH). Randy is currently pursuing his B.A. degree in human services at Bethel University and lives with his wife, dog, and cat in Golden Valley, MN. (612)584-0020
