Founders of the Steve Rummler Hope Foundation, Bill and Judy Rummler, attended this year’s Internal Medicine Meeting where just shy of 400 medical doctors participated in a series of lectures. The Minnesota Internal Medicine Meeting is an event for physicians to reflect, learn, and network with chapter leaders and guest speakers. Board member of the Foundation, Dr. Charles Reznikoff, along with Dr. Erin Krebs, presented on the topic of pain management on Thursday, October 27 to a room full of medical professionals.  On Friday, October 28, Steve Rummler Hope Foundation board member, Jane Colford, tabled the last day of the Internal Medicine Meeting, where she illuminated the issue and discussed how medical doctors play a pivotal role in the opioid epidemic.

More about the American College of Physicians and the Internal Medicine Meeting:

In addition to earning CME credits, this conference is about making personal connections. Physicians engage with people who know their challenges and can help them find solutions. The opportunities available at this meeting will help them meet not only their needs as a clinician but also the needs of the patients they serve. – John Bundrick, MD, FACP – ACP Governor, Minnesota Chapter
