911 Good Samaritan & Naloxone Campaign Kickoff (Steve’s Law)

November 6, 2014 By: SRHN

The turnout was excellent for the kickoff of the Minnesota campaign for 911 Good Samaritan & naloxone legislation.  Organized by the Steve Rummler Hope Foundation and Minnesota Recovery Connection, the August 1st gathering in St. Paul featured speakers Dr. Gavin Bart (Hennepin County Medical Center), Dr. Aaron DeVries (Minnesota Department of Health) and Senator Chris Eaton (Minnesota district 40).  The attendees learned that too many people are dying because those who witness an overdose are afraid to call 911. Foundation Vice President Lexi Reed Holtum would like to hear from you about your interest in making sure that “Steve’s Law” becomes the law in Minnesota.  Please contact Lexi at Lexi@SteveRummlerHopeFoundation.org.
