FED UP! Rally in Upper Senate Park on Tuesday October 1st in Washington, D.C. was a huge success, drawing 500+ people and attracting well-known medical experts and members of Congress as speakers.  Foundation President Judy Rummler, serving as Chair of the FED UP! Rally Steering Committee, welcomed the crowd, and the Rally began with a moving memorial to the thousands who have died.  The stage was surrounded by photos of loved-ones who have been lost to the epidemic of opioid addiction and overdose deaths (see photo). Senators Joe Manchin of West Virginia and Charles Schumer of New York, champions of our cause in the United States Senate, spoke to the crowd of their commitments to work for federal action to end the epidemic.  Congressman Hal Rogers of Kentucky, a long-time advocate for our cause, also spoke of his commitment and of the need for us to continue our advocacy efforts.
