Foundation Volunteers Join the Hennepin County Sheriff at the Minnesota State Fair

Foundation volunteers helped at the booth of the Hennepin County Sherriff’s office at the Minnesota State Fair in late August and over Labor Day weekend.  Our volunteers helped to promote the need for proper disposal of unused medications as a way to stop prescription drug abuse.  They spread awareness of Steve’s Law and how it can help to save lives by providing limited immunity and the overdose-reversal drug naloxone.  The Foundation is grateful to Hennepin County Sheriff Rich Stanek for this opportunity and for his support of the implementation of Steve’s Law.
