Mark Mishek, President and CEO of Hazelden, Sends Letter of Support to the Foundation

Foundation CEO Bill Rummler received a letter dated November 19th from Mark Mishek, President and CEO of Hazelden addiction treatment center. The letter states that “the story of your son Steve … has really resonated with us … has helped us to adjust our thinking and direction with regard to addiction treatment for those with chronic pain.”  We are honored to know that our meeting with Mark shortly after Steve died has led to changes at Hazelden “designed to protect pain patients from post-treatment relapse.” Click here to read the letter.
