Rice County Chemical Health Coalition Provider Team Meeting

On Wednesday, May 20, Foundation Vice President Lexi Reed Holtum was the featured speaker at the Rice County Chemical Health Coalition Provider Team Meeting in Northfield, Minnesota. Lexi spoke about the lifesaving provisions of Steve’s Law, including the importance of widespread availability and distribution of naloxone (brand name Narcan).  Lexi’s talk was well received by key stakeholders in Rice County – officials from Rice County Drug Court, First Responder agencies, the Public Schools, Public Health, Law Enforcement, Behavioral Health, Corrections, Social Service agencies, and more.

Rice County is leading the way in their collaborative efforts to reduce opioid overdose deaths.  The Steve Rummler Hope Foundation is proud to partner with them on their initiative.
