2022 Monthly Virtual Naloxone Trainings

February 14, 2022 By: SRHN

Join Us on Zoom!

SRHN has updated our community naloxone training calendar for 2022, and we’re excited to be hosting three public naloxone training webinars monthly (in addition to the trainings hosted by our amazing community trainers – check our calendar for those dates!). SRHN trainings will be the first Wednesday of the month (1-2PM), third Tuesday of the month (6-7PM) and third Thursday of each month (10-11AM). These free sessions are open to all and will be held virtually using Zoom.

At these trainings, you will learn:

  • How to recognize an opioid overdose
  • What naloxone/Narcan is and how it works
  • How to properly administer naloxone to someone experiencing an overdose
  • About Steve’s Law/MN’s Good Samaritan and Naloxone Law
  • …and more!

Training is free and participants can receive their own IM naloxone kit!
