Don't Run Call 911_0The Foundation began the implementation of Steve’s Law by holding its first training session on how to use naloxone to reverse an overdose on June 18th at Colonial Church of Edina.  Volunteers Ian Christensen and Adam Fairbanks presented information on how to identify an overdose and how to administer naloxone.  Attendees practiced by injecting naloxone into oranges, and everyone left with their own prescription for the life-saving drug.  The evening was a great beginning to what will become a huge effort to educate first responders and lay people on how Steve’s Law will save the lives of Minnesotans.
