Steve Rummler HOPE Network Welcomes New Executive Director
Alicia House Joins the Growing Nonprofit Devoted to Conquering the Opioid Crisis
MINNEAPOLIS (May 28, 2020) — The Steve Rummler HOPE Network (SRHN) is proud to announce the appointment of Alicia House as Executive Director. Alicia joins SRHN with a passion for Opioid Use Disorder treatment and a wealth of knowledge in community outreach and client care. Her work in the treatment and recovery fields have included positions related to intake, outreach, and sober living home management.
“The success of the SRHN in prescriber education, advocacy, and overdose prevention has saved many lives. I am truly honored to join this team,” House said. “Together, we can begin tackling some of the many hurdles those facing the disease of addiction encounter every day.”
Alicia’s hiring comes at an exciting time for the growing nonprofit, as their Overdose Prevention efforts continue to expand with the rollout of their Naloxone Access Point (NAP) pilot program, a grant-funded initiative aimed at expanding naloxone access and overdose prevention education resources.
“We are excited to have Alicia join the Steve Rummler HOPE Network as our Executive Director,” said Janie Colford, Chairwoman of the Board of Directors. “Her experience and expertise in the world of opioid addiction will support the hard work we are doing and will benefit the citizens of Minnesota and our national partners.”
House joins SRHN from Northstar Behavioral Health, a group of inpatient and outpatient treatment programs specializing in opioid dependence. She holds a B.A. in English with an emphasis on composition, literature and cultural studies from the University of Minnesota Duluth.
