Request for Release of Senate Finance Committee Investigation Findings
On September 16, 2015 a letter from FED UP! Coalition partners was sent to the current chairman and ranking member of the Senate Finance Committee seeking public release of their findings.

Please call the office of your two Senators and ask the staffer you speak with to support FED UP!’s request for transparency.

Here are some instructions to guide your call with Senate staffers:
- State your name and where you live.
- Explain why you have an interest in the opioid addiction epidemic- if you have been personally affected by the prescription opioid/heroin crisis then share your story.
- Explain that a letter was sent by 36 organizations to the Senate Finance Committee asking for the release of findings from the opioid investigation.
- Explain that the financial relationships between opioid drug companies and pain groups needs to be made public because these groups are blocking efforts to reduce overprescribing.
- Tell them you want your Senator to support Fed Up’s request to the Senate Finance Committee for transparency- Tell them you want your Senator to support release of the findings.
