Steve Rummler HOPE Network offers in-person and virtual presentations on the topics of Fentanyl & Harm Reduction and Stigma & Substance Use. Each presentation runs about 60 minutes and the content is relevant for both community and professional audiences.
Stigma and Substance Use
Stigma surrounding substance use disorder and seeking help can present barriers on the pathway to treatment and recovery.
Join us as we unpack this stigma through education and awareness.
Fentanyl and Harm Reduction
This presentation covers current statistics and trends of the evolving overdose crisis, synthetic opioids and illicitly manufactured fentanyl, common myths of fentanyl vs fact, fentanyl test strips, principles of harm reduction, safer use strategies, and common myths of harm reduction vs fact.
