Join Our Network
Become a Community Overdose Response Trainer

Naloxone trainings are a key offering of our Overdose Prevention program. We believe that everyone should learn how to recognize and reverse an opioid overdose, so we need volunteer community trainers to help us provide education and distribute naloxone kits to the state of Minnesota.

To become a Community Trainer:
1. Start by filling out our volunteer sign-up form.
2. On the form, select “Overdose Response Trainer” as one of your interests.
3. Attend a Community Trainer Orientation Session – hosted monthly on Zoom. Visit our public training calendar to find the meeting details.
Assemble Naloxone and Fentanyl Test Strip Kits

Our organization distributes tens of thousands of these life-saving kits each year, and our generous volunteers help us keep up with the needs of the communities we serve by assembling the kits.

Special Event Support

Throughout the year, Steve Rummler HOPE Network hosts events like our annual gala which requires lots of volunteer help in planning and execution!

Join Other Retired and Senior Citizens in Making a Difference

Steve Rummler HOPE Network is proud to partner with Senior Corps as a participating organization of the Greater Twin Cities RSVP (Retired and Senior Volunteer Program). We believe Seniors have unique skills and experiences that benefit our community. Through RSVP, adults 55 years and older are eligible for travel reimbursement, supplemental insurance, volunteer recognition and more!

Share Your Story

Sharing your story can have a profound impact on others. Whether it’s a personal story of recovery, the loss of a loved one to overdose, or stories of those who have been revived by naloxone or used naloxone to save a life, we want to hear from community members impacted by the opioid crisis. The only way to end the stigma of addiction is to speak up!

How to make a Facebook Fundraiser
1. On your computer, login to Facebook.
2. On the left, click Fundraisers.
  - Tip: If you don’t see Fundraisers on the left, click See more.
3. On the left, click Raise money.
4. Click Nonprofit.
5. You can either:
  - Scroll to find Steve Rummler HOPE Network or
  - Type into the search bar Steve Rummler HOPE Network
6. Select the nonprofit.
7. On the left, enter:
  - The goal amount of money you want to raise
  - The currency you want the funds to be in
8. Click Create.
How to make an Instagram Fundraiser
1. Open Instagram and tap New post.
2. Create or choose your image and tap (Android) or Next (iPhone).
3. Crop and filter your post, and then tap (Android) or Next (iPhone).
4. Tap Add Fundraiser.
5. Choose Steve Rummler HOPE Network. You’ll automatically go to the “Fundraiser Details” page.
6. Enter the details for your fundraiser and then tap Done.
7. Tap (Android) or Share (iPhone).
