Webinar: The Cost of Criminalization

July 26, 2021 By: Allie Carey
About the Webinar:

As public and professional opinion increasingly recognizes Substance Use Disorder (SUD) as a treatable medical condition,  it has become important to evaluate how we approach the criminalization of substance use in our communities. Join us to discuss the need for strategies that prioritize treatment, rather than incarceration, for individuals struggling with drug dependence.

This webinar is part of our Healing Together campaign, an effort to address the overdose rate disparities in Black communities through overdose prevention, awareness, and strategic partnerships. Learn more about the Healing Together Campaign here!
