Minnesota Warmline The Minnesota Warmline provides a peer-to-peer approach to mental health recovery, support and wellness. Calls are answered by our team of professionally trained Certified Peer Specialists, who have first hand experience living with a mental health condition.
The Warmline provides a safe, anonymous and confidential environment to connect with people who are here to listen and help. Peer specialists are available from 5PM-9AM (7 days a week).

Continuum Care Center (CCC) is a grassroots culturally specific non-profit RCO led by members of the recovery community that provides resources to promote long-term recovery and improve the quality of life while building recovery capital.
CCC work with other community service providers and organizations to help individuals navigate barriers to recovery, providing culturally appropriate peer support services and resources to the most vulnerable population. These nonclinical services support those individuals in homeless shelters, camps, treatment centers and those seeking support when dealing with substance use disorders.

All Recovery Meetings The Minnesota Recovery Connection hosts regular “All Recovery Meetings”. These free meetings offer peer-to-peer, strengths-based support for anyone seeking mutual aid and connection. We honor all pathways to recovery – harm reduction, medication assisted recovery, 12-steps, SMART Recovery, yoga – and are open to recovery allies, family members and concerned others.

Narcotics Anonymous Narcotics Anonymous offers addicts a way to live drug-free. If you are not sure you’re an addict, don’t worry about it; just keep coming to our meetings. You will have all the time you need to make up your own mind.

Alcoholics Anonymous Alcoholics Anonymous is an international fellowship of men and women who have had a drinking problem. It is nonprofessional, self-supporting, multiracial, apolitical, and available almost everywhere. There are no age or education requirements. Membership is open to anyone who wants to do something about his or her drinking problem.

SMART Recovery Self Management and Recovery Training (SMART) is a popular alternative to 12-step programs. Uses cognitive therapy techniques, and seeks to change behaviors that trigger substance misuse.

Secular Organizations for Sobriety (or Save Our Selves) -
Wellness in the Woods Support Group Wellness in the Woods provides a Virtual Peer Support Network (VPSN) hosted via Zoom weekly. VPSN was designed in response to the 2020 COVID-19 Pandemic with the intent to decrease isolation in an all-inclusive, non-judgmental, and safe environment.

Family Support Groups Nar-Anon Family Groups: a support group for people affected by another person’s substance addiction. The group is primarily composed of family members of those suffering from addiction, but friends are also welcome.
Al-Anon Family Groups: a support group for people affected by another person’s alcohol addiction. The group is primarily composed of family members of those suffering from alcoholism, but friends of are also welcome.
ALATEEN (for teens and children): for teens affected by a loved one’s alcoholism. In most cases, participants in Alateen meetings are minor children of parents suffering from alcoholism.
Adult Children of Alcoholics: a support group for adults whose childhood was affected by a parent’s addiction to alcohol or other drugs.
SMART Recovery Family & Friends: a secular program offering support for family and friends of individuals suffering from addiction.

NIH provides a basic overview of drug addiction, as well as information about recognizing drug use, opioid misuse, and alcohol abuse.

Hazelden Betty Ford Family Resources Hazelden Betty Ford offers support groups for family and friends of those suffering from addiction, as well as additional services and resources.

Partnership for Drug Free Kids The Partnership for Drug Free Kids is an organization providing connection, guidance and resources for concerned parents of youth suffering from addiction, including a helpline.

Survivor Resources Survivor Resources offers crisis response, grief support and other services for families who have unexpectedly lost a loved one to homicide, suicide, accidental overdose and violent death.
